US Navy Engine Study
In the summer of 2004 the engine maintenance department at the US Naval shipyards in San Diego were on the verge of scrapping six large diesel engines which were badly rusted and in need of rebuilding, They had evaluated several methods of rust removal and all were rejected as being either too toxic to personnel or likely to damage the engines. Then one of the engineers remembered that he had seen Evapo-Rust at a military conference. He quickly contacted Orison Marketing, Evapo-Rust's military distributor and requested samples and information. After testing, the US Navy decided that Evapo-Rust was perfect for the job. A tank was constructed and the engines were dipped. The results were better than the Navy had hoped for. Evapo-Rust had completely removed all exterior and interior rust in less that eight hours.
